Yoga and the mind( Mind Yoga)

There is state of constant interaction between body and mind. Mental health determines physical well being and physical well being in turn determines mental health, in this way there is never ending circular circuit like relationship between mind and Body. When a connecting link is added between them, they make a system, a strong bondage. This connecting link is Yoga, mind yoga. Yoga and the mind is rather a new topic to the western society. The trends of practicing mind yoga is highly beneficial for the current world, because it is in the stage of revolution, distraction and destruction.
Mind Yoga has the special ability to calm the neurons. Nerves are the channels that connect our brain to our body, sense to the sense organs. Therefore, practicing mind yoga has a enormous impact of relaxing the body and calming our mind.
Yoga is famous to bring peace and heal the mental anxiety. How this is possible by the practice of yoga?
There are two nervous systems in our body: sympathetic and parasympathetic. The sympathetic nervous system causes the blood pressure to raise, the breath rate to quicken, and stress hormones to flood into the body. In fierce animals this occurs during the time of fight. But in present world, we experience this response while we are sitting in traffic or feeling stressed at the office. When this system is highly stimulated, we can experience health consequences such as ulcers, migraines, and heart disease.
The parasympathetic nervous system lowers blood pressure and slows the pace of the breath. When the blood no longer has to rush to the muscles, it is free to travel to the digestive, reproductive, glandular, and immune systems - systems made up of organs that are more necessary to long-term survival. The body now has time to heal the damage accumulated during our daily battles. Studies have shown that long, deep breathing done in mind yoga encourages the actions of the parasympathetic nervous system and permits relaxation and healing to occur.
In mind yoga by performing certain yoga postures and pranayams control over our mind, and instant healing of triggered neurons is done by stimulating a complex series of bio-molecular reactions in our neural zones.
